DEPUTY MANAGER

Actaris is looking for a deputy manager to join our client’s successful growing team in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will be friendly, personable, and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager looking for a new role in a forward-thinking hospitality business run by two passionate owners.

The menu is built from mainly small plates and is a feast of flavors from across the world prepared fresh to order with the concept of sharing at the heart of it.

The Position

We’re looking for a deputy manager with experience managing a small team, who is confident, proactive, and a roll-your-sleeves-up kind of leader. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the performance of the front of house team, managing financials, team development, stock management, and health and safety.

We are looking for a deputy manager that has:

• The ability to inspire, motivate, lead the team for a smooth running of the business.
• A Warm, personable, and professional nature
• An eye for attention to detail.
• Passion for and knowledge of food, cocktails, and wine.
• Working knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to manage staff costs and review rotas accordingly.

Our team is the most important part of our business, translating our passion for genuine hospitality to our guests every day. In return, we are offering a salary package between £43,00 to £44,000 including tronc per annum. Negotiable on experience.
