Operations & Business Development Manager

Actaris is looking for an Operations & Business Development Manager in the London area.

Location: HA8 / W1G

Salary: £40,000

Bonus: £20,000 (based on the profitability of new business introductions to our client’s clinics)

Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Holiday: 30 days (inclusive of bank holidays)

Reporting to: CEO

Job Purpose: As the Operations & Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operational aspects of our client’s medical services, including static centers and managed imaging services. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our client’s Health services.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee and manage operations across our client’s static centers.

Act as the line manager for radiographers and regional clinic managers.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Visit sites when necessary, including new site setups.

Business Development:

Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive offerings.

Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients.

Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, conferences, and digital platforms.

Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Proposal Development:

Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.

Work closely with the operations team to develop realistic and effective project plans.

Revenue Growth:

Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in operations management and business development, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Knowledge of medical services, particularly imaging services, is desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
