Air Conditioning Engineer
Actaris is looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer in the Watford area.
Overview:
The Air Conditioning Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems. This role may involve working independently or as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install air conditioning systems and components according to specifications and technical drawings
- Fit piping, ductwork, and electrical wiring in compliance with relevant standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or part replacements
- Perform emergency repairs when required
- Test and commission systems, making any necessary performance adjustments
- Provide clear explanations of technical issues and solutions to clients
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications & Experience:
- Recognised qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3)
- Valid F-Gas certification
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Full UK driving licence
